Early access
Deal Renewals is provided as-is during its early access phase. The free plan includes 5 renewal creations per month, per portal; a paid plan removes the limit.
What the app writes
In your portal the app creates renewal deals and copies of their line items, and associates each renewal with the contacts and companies the source deal already had. On the source deal it writes only its lineage properties — the link to its renewal — and nothing else.
When you connect the app it also adds six dr_ properties and a “Deal Renewals” group to your Deal object; that is where the lineage lives, and it is why the app asks for permission to edit deal properties. It recreates them if they ever go missing. No existing property is modified or removed.
